And now for something completely different….have you ever tried a Ribolla Gialla? The Attems Trebes from the Frescobaldi family (who also own Ornellaia, Tenuta Luce, & Masseto) is a great example: it’s a refreshing white from Venezia Giulia in north-east Italy (bordering Slovenia). It is unoaked (made in steel tanks), light (12.5%) and has delicate floral aromas with lime and ripe soft fruits on the palate, and a light slightly saline finish. Ideal with light dishes, and served around 8ºC
